ADULT CLINICAL CORE CURRICULUM

Objectives At the conclusion of this session, the participant will be able to: • describe the use of currently available wearable monitors in the evaluation and management of sleep disorders • discuss updates in the management of sleep disorders in pediatric and underserved populations • explain current approaches to managing hypersomnia, insomnia, and circadian rhythm disorders The goal of the core is to support clinicians who are engaged in maintenance of certification activities by providing updates on subjects included in recertification requirements. The ATS Clinical Core Curriculum Symposia focus on key topics in the areas of Adult and Pediatric Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. The topics are aligned with corresponding MOC Medical Knowledge modules.
