This is a 2-day postgraduate course that consists of didactic lectures and hands-on stations. The focus is primarily bedside transthoracic echocardiography, with some diagnostic ultrasound.The topics include basic and intermediate critical care echocardiography (including hemodynamic measures), assessment of fluid status, procedural guidance for vascular access and thoracentesis, venography.
